KC Clone fans can see Tori Hurtt in action

If you don't have anything to do tomorrow morning while waiting for the Hawk game at 2:30, you can head over to Lee's Summit West and watch Cyclone recruit Torii Hurtt in action in the Mo-Kan tournament against some of the best volleyball teams in the Midwest. In pool play she will be going at 8:00 am, 9:50 and 12:30. The latter game will be against St. Thomas Aquinas, a perennial VB power on the Kansas side. See link and click on pool play:

Tori's team got caught in the most balance pool and finished third losing 2-1 to the top two. They came back to dominate and win the consolation bracket of the sixteen team field. She is listed as a middle hitter, but unlike most middles, she never leaves the court playing the back row. She was pretty tough for the other teams to handle but the O'Hara just did not have the horses to win out over the larger schools that beat them in pool play. Confident they will dominate Class 3 and win their fourth straight state title, though.
