Really want to get back to KC one of these years. It's a ton of fun. If we get placed in Omaha for the 1st and 2nd rounds I may go. Last time I went to an ISU NCAA tournament game I was still in college, was the elite 8 year and we were in Minneapolis. We drove back and forth between Ames as also went to the women's NCAA games which were on the off days from the men. Hopefully we can get a good seed next time Des Moines hosts as that would be fun as hell to have basically a huge home court advantage. Omaha and KC give us that advantage too but I imagine having it in our backyard in Des Moines tickets would be a really hot item.

Went to the women's tournament last year. This year it will be the men's.

Heading down Tuesday. Hope the gals get a shot at the finals. Wish we could go tomorrow but have a conflict.

Curious how the women's tournament attendance is this year vs when they played right down the street the same week the men play. We'd try to make both games if they weren't playing at the same time and have to think they got a lot of walk up sales from fans when their mens team lost and they wanted to support their other team still in it. I would go to both when in KC. We usually get all session passes for the men's when we go so we'll stay through the weekend even if ISU lost early but was always nice to have the women's tournament to fall back on and sell some men sessions when they were playing.

Heading down on Wednesday for the CF/We Will event. Staying for games on Thursday. Then, planning to come home on Friday morning . . . but I could see myself staying a few more days.
