Why? You don't ever use comment on attractiveness of a woman when telling a story?
If he bashed their looks or the daughter was 15 of whatever I could understand your point.
I might have some south leaking into me. It's common courtesy to tell someone they're beautiful/handsome no matter what. I've lost count with how many times I've been introduced "this handsome young man" even at work.
Nah, I'm pretty ugly. It's just courtesy. They say that too everyone about everyone
On an Internet message board? Where that detail has exactly zero influence on the story? No, I'm sorry. I can't say that I have.
I was eating brunch like I always do in Charleston, got sat down next to a table with two women.
One of them saw me in my cyclone gear and asked if I went there. I said yes and she said she was an alum and just kept talking. She introduced herself, "Stacy Hornacek" and I thought about Jeff but I wanted to be sure so I asked when she graduated and it started to add up. Then she said she lived in Phoenix and I was 95% sure at this point.
Then when she said that he was a basketball player I knew... so I asked his name and I was right.
His daughter plays volleyball at USC. They were just in town on vacation, and they were just both so nice and very beautiful.
I was so star struck. I should've taken a picture.
Well that's my story.
Great story! I've heard that the Hornaceks are all very nice. Great to hear of their daughter's success. I did a quick search for what I could find about her play at USC and came across this bio: http://www.usctrojans.com/sports/w-svolley/mtt/hornacek_abby00.html, looks like her brother played VB for the Trojans as well.

Story? This isn't the AP here bro.

I thought Hornacek's daughter was interested in playing VB @ ISU, and we didn't have a spot for her.
Can anyone confirm?
Can't confirm that, but she did sign with KU in the fall of her senior year then switched to USC when they started up sand VB. She was on the team in spring 2013, but did not show up on the 2014 roster. Could have been the illness or injury problems she was having that first year. Since she wasn't on the roster this past season at least as a red-shirt, not sure she is still with the team.
Did you talk about ISU MBB or WVB? Surely you didn't pass up the opportunity to talk a little bit more than it seems in the story.

yeah I can't find anything about where she is at now.
Oh yes, talked about ISU MBB, WVB, The Phoenix Suns, LeBron James, it was great.
She couldn't seriously consider it because she is a setter and she was in the off year for setters at ISU (you generally have 2, and get one every other year).
She committed to KU when she was a Sophomore in HS but she went to camps and decided KU wasn't for her. I didn't pry into it a whole lot.
She said she plays vollyball at USC. That's all I know.
