I agree on Football, much bigger deal. However, I must respectfully disagree about the year Nebraska and Penn State split. My opinion, if they played, Nebraska would have solidly beat them. No one, and I mean no one could even come close to controlling much less stopping that option attack that year. And I believe their defense was much better statistically (like 1st or 2nd in the nation) I may be in the minority with this, but I also was in the minority this last year when Texas beat USC, much for the same reasons (defense, and yes, Texas DID stop USC at the end when it mattered)
If you meant the year Michigan and Nebraska split, well thats a different story.
