Is there any new news on recruiting Jeffrey Jordan?

Could anyone find a player profile page or bio of him for me? I can't seem to find one.

It'd be fantastic if we picked him up, not just because of the potential that he inherited, but think if Michael Jordan was sitting in Hilton Colisseum with us "normal" people. That'd be soooooo cool.

From what I have heard his game is still a little rough. Still has upside obviously due to his genepool. Games are usually tough for him since everybody tries to isolate him and beat him one on one so they can say "I schooled Jordan's kid."

I also heard he was only looking at ISU seriously when Morgan was the coach. It is rumored the Jordan's are looking for a black head coach.

With all that said it would be a hell of a recruiting tool to say you have MJ at some of your games...who could also serve as a talent scout since he is now with the Bobcat organization.

If we're going to lose 2 scholarships due to APR/Hubalekgate, i don't think we should be going after Jordan. He'd be a nice 11th or 12th player on the scholarship bench, but if those scholarships are gone (and i'm hearing it's pretty likely), we better concentrate on getting the best players available. And Jordan, though famously connected, is a prospect with mid-major talent.

He may be a mid level prospect, but why not bring him in,if he can bring us huge recruits because of the fact that we have big Jordan sitting in Hilton, big Jordan wasnt that good in high school either if i remeber correctly and i think he turned out to be a pretty decent player, he even made Phil Jackson a good coach.

nah I think its a waste of time, and would add a distraction to the team. getting him just for the fact of who his dad is...which also everytime he is mentioned, michael is no more than 2 words away. sounds like most people only care about MJ and how much $$$ he could bring.

MJ wasn't good in high school early on. By his senior year, he was obviously good enough to be recruited by North Carolina.
