Probably going to be a stupid question, but what is reddit?

I just cannot believe we are the only Division 1 school in the country that has their stadium named after an African American. Maybe I should not be surprised since there are only 15 African American head coaches in all of Division 1 football. I still think it is crazy though.

The only other one that I know of is Wake Forest's basketball arena. Named after an African American who received the Medal of Honor. He was born in Winston-Salem, where Wake Forest is located.

This quote is from his widowed-wife, Cora Mae Trice Greene:

“The day of the game, I was [on campus], and I heard
it announced that he had been injured. I stood and bowed my head and then I heard that he walked from the field. I felt somewhat relieved. Monday noon I was in the cafeteria. His fraternity brother, Mr. Harold Tutt, came to me and said that I was to go to the campus hospital. I did. When I saw him I said, ‘Hello, Darling.’ He looked at me, but never spoke. I remember hearing the Campanile chime 3 o’clock. That was Oct. 8th, 1923, and he was gone.”

Have any of you heard that Jack Trice was in a fraternity? Any idea which fraternity it was? I know that he was aided by the Masons, and maybe that is the fraternity she is referring to, but it would be interesting to know if it were another one.
