Very interesting article. It doesn't mention how long the document will be on display, though I doubt it will still be there when I can come see it.
I found it very interesting that the legislators of the time thought that education at land-grant institutions would be "forever free". I wonder if, under the concept, an extremely cost-conscious and fiscally responsible administration could've used the land to fund education in perpetuity.
