Renaissance is rebirth and I want us to be fully aware that we are living through some pretty exciting times right now. Be sure your children and grandchildren take notice of this remarkable era.

Student enrollment has skyrocketed in the last few years from 29k to over 33k and if you have any hair on your back at all you remember enrollment at 25k.

Iowa's largest University is ISU and we are the 2nd largest behind Texas in the Big 12 Conference.

Steven Leath is capitalizing on a booming ag economy and plans for a super ag corridor from Ames to Des Moines.

The wildly successful Fanfest will return to Hilton Coliseum in August and no doubt the lines will snake through the corridors for autographs of favorite players and coaches.

For the first time we are upper Big 12 in the Learfield Directors Cup and 36th nationally without the benefit of baseball, mens soccer and swimming and diving.

Our AD will enclose the south end zone for $60M where competing schools will spend $200M-$300M for their renovations.

Our fan base has ratcheted to an incredible level. The Kansas City turnout for Freddy's team was unbelievable going from thousands of fans on Thursday to every ticket available sold on Friday to Katie Bar the Door for the Championship game on Saturday. Football tickets sales have also set records for each of the last 5 years.

How far can Freddy take this years club? Another Sweet 16, Elite 8 or better?

How good is the Mangino hire? Bombs away and the rebirth of an offense that can score 35 ppg?

Fennelly's fruit has been his improved recruiting by increasing his territory.

What am I missing?
