I know this is a couple minutes late, but I wanted to see Gene ask for a replay on OU's catch around the 33 yard line. I watched a replay myself and he was a half yard short. Has Gene even challenged a single play all season long?

On a totally unrelated note, Purdue is spanking some Junior College in Iowa Schitty, 21 to 6 in the 3d quarter.

Now, go Cyclones! Score some points!

Notice too that Oklahoma's kicker has been blasting those kickoffs through the end zone. Culbertson was patty-caking them barely past the 30. Ugh.

OU is too quick to bank on yards after the catch to get 1st downs. Those need to go downfield. Our play calling has stunk most of the game.

Great. Three and out. We ran the same exact play on 3rd down as we have on nearly all our other 3-and-~5s, and as usual it went for no gain. When teams like Oklahoma and Texas run that play, it works because their wideouts are fast and shifty, and their teammates can block downfield for them. When we run it, our wideouts are slow and clumsy, and our receivers--especially Blythe--cannot block down the field. Why do we keep running it?
