no ****, one dinger with loaded bases and that lead is toast. Rogue52, who are these teams pulling stars with 3-4 run leads??? That is CRAZY. And if I am a fan that pays to go to the game and they pull brady and moss in the second quarter when this thing was already over I AM PISSED because even if my team sucks at least I get to watch on of the greatest QB WR tandems in the last 30 years.

I assume you meant to call someone else out since I was the one you were agreeing with by quoting my post!

HUH??? Name one Major League Baseball game where the manager pulled his star players with a 3 or 4 run lead in the 8th or 9th innings.

I think the minimum score needed to pull your stars out of a baseball game is around 8-10 runs. MAYBE you pull a star with a nagging injury a little bit earlier.

You may pull Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez in the ninth if you are ahead by any amount. You put better defensive players in, noit lousier defensive players. Is that giving the underdog a break.

The worst shutout was:
In 2004, the Indians beat the Yankees 22-0, and that was the highest score by a team that also shut out its opponent.

Translated (run=touchdown) from baseball to football that would be 154-0, a little bit larger than 56-10. Blame Hobbs. He could have fallen on the pigskin.

I thought JP Losman would get another TD.

Did not one Superbowl XX go 46-10 for Bears versus Patsies?
