I believe that the game will be dominated by Iowa in the first half and ISU rallies back to force overtime where ISU wins 73-71

Clark will get a triple double and Taylor will lead ISU with 26 points.

I think yesterday they were saying there were about 2000 tickets left to the game. They had at least 4000 empty seats against UNI. Iowa basketball has taken a tailspin since the Tom Davis era and Alford has never lived up to the hype. I don't know a single Iowa fan amongst my friends that care for Alford and most hope that they have a terrible year every season just so they can finally can him and move on. Unfortunately Boy Wonder always seems to find a way to win in the Big 10 Tourney and save his job but maybe this season will finally be the final straw if they get dominated all year long.

I think we lose by 5-10 points. Something like 70-64. I know that's a high score, but the crowd will be jacked up and I could see how two young teams could try and run a bit more with that much emotion in Carver.

I know this will make me a terrible fan, but I have yet seen the team play. So I am really excited to see what these kids can do.

It really befuddles me how this game is not sold out. Is it because it's on a friday night instead of a weekend? Are things hurting economically in Iowa right now? It's amusing how Iowa hoops has plummeted under the wonder boy Stevie. I just recall growing up in eastern Iowa as a kid, Iowa hoops was all the rage with Tom Davis coaching BJ Armstrong and that crew, I think Carver was selling out every game. It's probably a good thing for Alford that Ferentz had the football team playing at a high level which perhaps deflected Iowa fan focus more on football in the last 5-6 years, it just seems Iowa is more of a football school now that when Tom Davis was coaching Iowa.

If there are 2k tickets left, CYCLONE FANS OF EASTERN IOWA! ATTENTION! ATTEND TONIGHTS GAME!! MAKE IT HILTON EAST!!

They are hitting on 3 of 4 cylinders. Tonight, they need to reignite. Want to see more bodies hit the floor. More hustle is needed tonight at start of game.

just checked out the tix situation, best available for the following numbers is listed below. The lower seats are in the corners, but there really isn't a bad seat in there.

1 - Row 34
2 - Row 35
4 - Row 14 (oddly enough)
5 - Row 14

I think the last time it was in Iowa City it did not sell out either. Iowa's basketball attendance has been pretty bad the past few years. Hawk fans are just not excited about Alford and where the program is at. They really need to can Alford and bring in a guy to re-energize the program but for ISU's sake let's hope that doesn't happen soon. :)

I checked a few weeks ago at stubhub to see what some of the good seats people were selling for and there was a set of 4 tickets, center court, only a few rows up for about $50/seat. Try selling that ticket if the game is at Hilton and I think you'd be lucky to get it for about $100 a seat because those seats are probably worth more to our fans than the equivilant at Carver for Hawk fans.

I have enjoyed Marty Tirrell sticking it to the Hawks this week calling an 0-3 in-state for basketball and getting stomped by Texas at the Alamo. This is a guy who I thought usually spoke well of the Hawks too which I find funny that he's said he has thought about flying in to see the Drake game or going to Texas just so he can witness in person the dejected Hawk fans frustration and disappointment.

My mom just called from IC saying there were two free tickets sitting in her break room at work if I wanted to make the drive to Iowa City tonight. Free tickets and no hotel fees? I'm there!

Though the tickets probably came from a Hawkeye's season ticket package, so I'll probably be surrounded by Hawk fans. Anyone here going to be nearby section F row 29?

All I know is when I hear it on TV, I want to hear it as loud or louder than UNI did there. Granted a lot of UNI fans tend to be Hawk fans when they are winning, but still it was awesome hearing on the tube a group chanting "UNI" and all the Hawk fans sitting in embarrassment. Those going please chant and make it loud as ever for more embarrassment from EIU.
