I'd rather go to the Chops game tonight for $1 beers!

The Chops game does sound really tempting. The thing is that I like Wrestling and there's not many meets overall. There's only 2 home meets in November, then from November 23 till January 23 there's no others.

To make up for missing the chops game, I will go to some Buc beer nights at a Bucs game.

Hopefully the Chops will do another promo like this later in the season!

Chops hockey and ISU wrestling? Sorry, but ISU wrestling wins that battle in a landslide. People go to Chops games? Seriously?

I had enough college wrestling in college... I can think of ALOT of things I would rather do than go to another... Probably won't go again unless they get the NCAA's in Des Moines.

I'm going to both. We'll probably get there around 11 or earlier so we can park in a field...(wish we had a parking pass) walk to Hilton with books, and hat/gloves in a bag...maybe another layer of clothes. And then get ready for the FB game after.

It seems like an all day party :yes:

Books?

Looking forward to attending 3 basketball games and 1 football game this weekend. Although I noticed in someone else's post that there is a women's game Sunday afternoon as well. Hmm, that's tempting. Maybe 4 basketball games!

I am super-excited about the basketball/football doubleheader. With the football game only a few hours afterwards I am really hoping for a sell-out at the basketball game on Saturday. If we can get 45,000 fans to freeze to death on Saturday night we should be able to get 14,356 people to watch Hoops action inside where it’s toasty warm. I think it would be a huge lift for the new guys to get the true Hilton experience early in the season. If you have tickets please show up or give them to somebody who will use them. If you don’t have tickets and want to go they’re only $10 a piece. Great deal! Anybody know how many tickets are left?

Only books if we're really really really early. Something to kill the time:yes:
Only for BEFORE the game and while waiting for the FB game

I think if they let you drink beer in Hilton, it would definitely be a sell out.

The old retired guys taking the tickets have a hard enough time making sure the scanners read. I don't think they would ever check your coat pockets.

As long as the coat fits a 12 pack. We could even play drinking games...everytime ISU hits a 3, you have to open a beer. Imagine the sound of 14,000 cans opening at once...talk about Hilton Magic!
