Just in...Iwebema is currently being held out of practice for personal reasons. Speculations are it's academic.

Quote from a person at the press conference on Hawkeye Nation...

Ewen will move inside, Bain and Kroul will move outside, Kanellis moves up to the starting lineup while he works on his personal issues.
Iwebema has a personal thing he needs to resolve (rumors were academically) and Ferentz said that he has confidence that Iwebema will be back in a couple weeks but if he doesnt, Kanelious would probably start, and he mentioned moving Bain to defensive end.
Could be a big loss for their defense.

b) Pollard isn't behind it.

Wouldn't that just be the most ingenious thing ever...our AD infiltrates the lairs of the opposing teams...liquidating them like flies in a fire. He's sooooooooo evil.

Muuuuahahahahaha.

Muuuuuahahahahaahahahahahahaahaha.

Muuuuuuuuuuahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

*ahem*

Carry on...

Awesome, Kanellis went to my high school. Of course, Greg Coleman went to the same high school, and we all know how he turned out. Maybe this will bode well for us. :D

Sorry to rain on the parade, but over on HR and HN they're reporting he'll be back later this week or next.

Of course they're going to say that.....hell, some of the Fusker fans still haven't come to grips with losing two of their players....

Not saying Iwebema won't be back, just saying that right now it appears to be too early to tell for sure.

Yeah, they're reading into things like they are trying to crack the Da Vinci Code. They heard that he "should" be back soon on the radio, so they are treating it like gospel. They had no idea why he wasn't practicing to begin with. If one of our players wasnt practicing, we wouldve known something was up.

Any way you look at it, he will be back for the ISU game. Perhaps it is just a ploy by the Register for their top story that week.
