If Texas doesn't get back on defense, Iowa can win the game. That's where Fran's teams are tough, as they do a good job pushing the ball up the court.

At the end of last year, teams did a better job of stopping Iowa from getting cheap transition buckets and they really struggled. Not a very good 1/2 court team.

I agree, and would add that Texas needs to get some easy baskets of their own.

I could see this being a close game, last year Fran had his boys playing good ball at the beginning of the year. If Barnes can stop the transition game Iowa will get destroyed though

I think Iowa will be close or win this game. Under Fran Iowa has always started the season strong, like they have 4 weeks more practice than everyone else. Unfortunately, they never improve as the season goes on, and other teams pass them by.

I agree with you on this one. Iowa was sharp to start the year last year, and they could get a lot of fast break buckets if Texas isn't up to speed.
