I could see this being a close game, last year Fran had his boys playing good ball at the beginning of the year. If Barnes can stop the transition game Iowa will get destroyed though

I think this is closer than everyone else is thinking. Guessing Fran will just pack in his defense and force Texas to beat them with the outside shot. That is UT's weakness is my opinion. Plus this is just the 3rd game of the season and anything can happen (e.g. Buffalo having a lead on UK in the 1st half). I just don't think Iowa is bad as we all want them to be, not sure if they will win, but it won't shock me if they did.

Plus Vegas is not usually that wrong - 4 pt spread for a reason.

If Texas doesn't get back on defense, Iowa can win the game. That's where Fran's teams are tough, as they do a good job pushing the ball up the court.

At the end of last year, teams did a better job of stopping Iowa from getting cheap transition buckets and they really struggled. Not a very good 1/2 court team.

I almost (almost is a key word), want Iowa to win, and if they do win I want it to be a by a lot because that will fire up the hype train for their fans and Jon Miller. It will make a win in Carver that much sweeter and they can fall that much harder.
