I missed the first game. Any observations would be appreciated. On paper, Brittany Crain 5'8" guard carries this team with 24.1 ppg. Crain and DeCoud 5'5 guard, shoot .400 and .408 from 3. The team averages 9.0 steals per game - should be a good test for our ball handling and perimeter defense. They start a small lineup, so Fernstrom should have a good day if we can get the assist.

Watched most of the game (got there at the 10 min. mark first half) they had 4 players in double figures. They were hitting their three's and had double digit leads most of the game. Brown made a run in the second half when they pressured UCR and got it down to 6 points but then went cold and UCR ran the score back up. They (UCR) got into a little foul trouble and only had 4 players on the bench and struggled when the starting 5 were not all on the floor. This should be an interesting game and I am glad we had the easy win so we could rest players.

The plan for Crain is clear. Someone is tied to her at all times. Brynn, Seanna and Nicky have had the assignment with good success, but she can shoot well with a small opening. Good first half - Bre has let some balls through her hands.
