You're overthinking just a little hereMight be possible with a few sponsors footing the bill. Everyone would see the names of those sponsors on the back of a shirt in front of them. Put an ISU logo on the front.
That being said, oversized for some is different for others. An oversized shirt for me is quite different than my wife or kids.
But usually they only do these things for the student section.
Minnesota did as well. They look like all the other new ones.Do you think the conference pushed for teams to get new uniforms as part of the “new big 12”?
I don’t see many teams outside of the Big 12 getting new uniforms and there have been 6 this year plus OSU and Cincy last year off the top of my head. Seems intentional.
There goes my theory that all the new Nike unis look the same because Nike is using cheaper factory. I was expecting adidas to do better.JFC, are Nike and Adidas sourcing their uniforms from the same sweat shop? Outside of Tech getting a pant stripe these look identical to ours.
our fans can't even clap to a simple beat in unison. Do we really think they can coordinate on colors?ISU Fans have never been great at or cared enough for the color games.
White out has never been a thing, we have never pushed section striping, and Cardinal or Gold games have always been pretty poorly participated in.
I dont know what it is, I have a few guesses, but our fans just dont do good at it. I mean 95% of cyclone fans have Cardinal gear, then probably 50% have Gold gear. Maybe 30% have black gear, but may have other black outerwear that they can or will wear. I would guess less than 20% have white gear or white outerwear. I actually dont know if I know anyone with a white coat let alone a white ISU coat.
My guess is only about 50% will actually wear the proper color on the proper day. White out might be cool but JT wont look anywhere close to PSU because their just wont be enough participation.
The fanbase has actually done a pretty commendable job with the color themed games at Hilton. White Out games, in particular, have looked great.our fans can't even clap to a simple beat in unison. Do we really think they can coordinate on colors?
Will be just another shade that are players and fans wear. Add it to the several others that already exist.View attachment 130916
"Average' color sampling of the cardinal jersey here, is RGB 213, 4, 13, which is pretty bright. [It's even brighter than our "university' cardinal, which is RGB 200, 16, 46, and we don't use that on our uniforms.]
Have they accepted a brighter cardinal (mistake) from Nike? Or is this just a 'lighting' issue again?
Contrast the above image with the cardinal (which we have had) in the 2018 release.

I'm hoping it's a lighting issue. However, that is easily fixed if you want to edit a photo. Or the folks that release these pics don't notice them. I find that hard to believe though. Will be just another shade that are players and fans wear. Add it to the several others that already exist.
With these 4 pics of our players, there is a slight lighting difference. I selected my average sample (Beau Fryler's Rt shoulder) from the darkest one, Fryler's. Even so, it is way brighter than what we've had recently.View attachment 130916

Two of my questions, right here.If the shade has changed again, it would be interesting to know why and who made the decision. Does Nike decide and give us the left overs?
