I think road if it goes off being K State would have been a road game this year.
Nice, that helps then if we go with an Irish theme. Although it's pretty much a once in a lifetime game I still don't expect we'll spend the extra cash on special unis, so maybe just all whites with a special helmet decal? I'd be cool with that. Although they could probably sell the game used special Irish unis and make their money back.

I’d say you are spot on. All whites with a script Irish Cyclone.

Linking what some have done in the past. Nothing crazy but subtle nods to the Irish culture I wonder if/what K State will do?

ISU's cardinal-with-script gets a mention in this roundup.

Side note: I kinda wish our sleeve striping was closer to Washington's. (UW set in general has a gooood look).
My preference would be Cincy's Nike shoulder stripes. ISU's 5 stripe look is not good at all.

Yeah it just looks off for some reason. I think because traditional football uniforms have one or two main stripes with accents stripes not 5 stripes all the same size, it just looks off to me.
Agree. Of course there's no mandate everyone has to do everything that's traditional or typical. I think there's a reason some of the more common strip/accent designs have more dependable endurance.

Even "common" striping isn't fool-proof. Iowa Stat had some back in parts of '80s/'90s that maybe weren't as effective. Some of that, yes, is connected with design trends in general.
