Iowa State Letterman's jacket

Anyone know where I can buy an Iowa State Letterman's type jacket? You know, the ones with read leather sleeves and wool body. I have seen Hawkeye ones that look great if I were a hawk fan, but never a cyclone one....except on isu athletes.

You have to earn them, by playing a college sport. Hence the name lettermans jacket.

seriously?? best place I know of is to be a good athlete, sign a letter of intent with Iowa State University, then go to class, stay eligible, go to practice, get some playing time and EARN ONE!

Even if you could get the jacket you wouldnt have the letter to go on it, you'd feel like me when I was a soph. before I got my letter for football. Like the other poster said, the point of it is that its not for everyone.

I realize they would not be actual "Letterman Jackets", but leather sleeves and wool body. I've seen them for sale for other teams.

I found a vintage (I'm guessing 50s/60s era) iowa state letter sweater on ebay last year...one of my best purchases of all time.

Iowa will allow their logo to go on anything. Athletes should be the only one to have these type of jackets. It is a special thing for them to have them and by selling them or having something similar takes away from the athletes.
