It's the Greek community practicing their "Yell Like Hell" routines for homecoming week.

Yell Like Hell practices used to be done behind the Mole Bio building. I wonder when they moved it to Hilton? Seems less intrusive and annoying to have the practices behind Mole Bio instead of in front of everyone at Hilton

They've been in the lots south of Hilton, east of the Alumni Center for several years.

Cults unwittingly identified as cults!

- strange rituals under the cover of darkness
- initiation rites
- in-group/out-group 'purity' categories
- the view from inside obscures view of outside world
- young and impressionable encouraged to enter, then find it difficult to leave
- omerta and 'protection' after graduating out into the world...

It is quite weird to observe.

Wish they would let the fraternities/sororities do the lawn displays like they used to. Those were so much fun to build. Though I get why they don't want a college kid with a beer in one hand and a welder in the other 35 feet in the air. Same with the Veishea floats.
