I'm starting a game thread for the iowa game so that we can assess it later. Just kicked off and Iowa got a first down right away. Please contribute as you see fit.

After the quick start, iowa is held up pretty good, Fenstermaker with a 38 yd. punt with no return. Syracuse will be loading the box today so look for Young to be held to pretty small numbers until Manson can get some passes going.
I dont understand it either. Manson is just as good as tate (probably not the leader that tate is) but he is athletic and i dont understand why they should be to much worse off.
Lucky QB scramble to keep the drive alive. If you're not watching this game, you should be. ABC.
The interception??? If so, then tate would not have helped that at all. All Moeki (sp?) on that one.
Syracuse has come out excited and they are certainly more aggressive right now. Iowa can't seem to get anything going yet....consistancy seems to be an issue. The crowd is in the game, and now if SU can keep it close in the second half they may have a chance.
IMO, this is one of those games that underdogs love playing in because even though you aren't blowing the other team out or controlling the game, you're still in it and you've got that feeling that you can pull off an upset....let's see what Ferentz does in the second half to get the crowd out of it and take some wind out of SU's sails.
