You can church it up all you want but Iowa St finished tied for 3rd in the Big 12 last year and went...7-6, while the others went a stunning 8-5. Iowa was the 3rd place team in the Big Ten West and the 6th team in bowl selection, and Iowa went 10-3. That doesn't speak well for the Big 12, and that's where all of that supposed strength comes from, aside from Iowa of course. Iowa St simply played a lot of teams sitting on the edge of the top 50 according to the metric.
Most of that "status" came from the conference being really mediocre in the middle last year so that on paper, you didn't have a Rutgers that sank your SOS, when in reality, Kansas was almost as bad and ISU still nearly choked that game away while Iowa cruised. Especially with this past weekend having 3 losses against the vaunted Sun Belt, and one whole win last year in bowl matchups for the league, you're not fooling anyone.
This comparison doesn't even make sense idiot. Iowa never plays good teams anymore besides Wisky.

So long story short Iowa State played a much tougher schedule than Iowa last year? I’m not saying both of them are better then Oklahoma. I’m saying the two colleges are better then the Oklahoma and Texas.Lol and you called slow starts a moron.
And were still bad enough that they wouldn’t have improved with an “easier schedule”So long story short Iowa State played a much tougher schedule than Iowa last year? Got it

Talking athletics. Oklahoma is better then both schools individually but combining Oklahoma with UT and PSU with Mich makes PSU and Mich better.OU sure, UT is a push at best. UT is a damn good school.

I’ll take that betThey won again on the road today? Dang. Might move into the top 15
They barely beat an awful Georgia State team. Terrible look for ISU. GSU played them closer then you did in their first game. They won again on the road today? Dang. Might move into the top 15
