They have a junior team that is just loaded with Players. Prohm needs to get to some of these games

Players on the team this year

Ed Chang-Number one player in Nebraska. Offers from Iowa, Creighton and some others
AJ Green-Pretty sure everyone has heard about AJ
Joe Weiscamp-Committed to Iowa
Nathan Johnson- Offered by Air Force and catching a lot of teams eyes
Sa
Sam Ignoli- Probably could be a good lower division player if he improves his jump shot.
Joey Hauser- Top player out of Wisconsin. Has another brother already playing D1 I believe

Unreal team. I would really like to see us go after Ed Chang though. Kid has major upside. He is listed on 247 at 6'7. However I have seen him listed at 6'9

Didn't we kind of burn the Iowa Barnstormers bridge with how we treated Brady Ernst?

That's a good question. There is nobody on that list we're going after realistically besides Green and I don't think he leaves Cedar Falls. Hauser will go to Marquette or a blue blood and the rest are pretty meh

No they have added a few players. I doubt a real bridge is burned with any aau team. They need there players going and starting in the best teams in order to stay relevant.

Oh, I'm sure they'd love us to give one of their mid-major guys their first P5 offer.

The problem is if a player is good enough for us he's likely going to have other options that those fucktard handlers will push before ISU.

I think there is some truth to this from rumblings I've seen on twitter.

Ex.

I trust nothing that guy says. 1) who as an AAU coach, that is actually doing their job, knowingly burns bridges with the biggest Division One school in the state of which your AAU team is? That is petty and wrong to the kids who play for you. 2) all that guy retweets is Iowa basketball stuff and terrible takes on NBA basketball

To me just seems like a guy who thinks he is way bigger of a deal than he actually is, and there are a bunch of those guys in the AAU scene, but you would think he would be smart enough to know to do what is right for his players. Because, after all they are paying for him to put them in the best position to play at the next level.

That annoys me more than it probably should, and that has nothing to do with his dislike for Iowa State. That is just bull

So what did we mess up on with Ernst? I missed that I guess.

We gave a guy coming off a knee injury a scholly, told him he could stay or leave after a year, he chose to leave, went to JUCO, became the greatest JUCO player or all-time, and is now going to Xavier.

Instead of the alternative which would have been him choosing to stay, taking up a scholly, and coming in for a few minutes a game to foul people and potentially do rebounding and hustle because he is "big" and from Iowa so he cares more. All things the nj wing of this fanbase craves in a B12 player.
