First off, I tried my best to find a bigger transfer thread to attach this to, I swear, but I gave up on the 7th page of MBB threads.

This kid would be a 5th year transfer, eligible immediately, from Illinois. Numbers dipped a bit this year, but looks like his FG3% and other numbers were solid as a Sophomore at Seton Hall. I know the 2G rotation is dip next year with Naz, Thomas, Cooke, and probably Burton soaking up some minutes, but maybe he's still worth a look.

Didn't we already look at this kid when he transferred from Seton Hall?

Maybe? We look at so many, it's hard to remember the ones that don't actually come here. The one thing that would be different this time around, obviously, would be that he wouldn't have to sit out a year.

Not being critical, the name just sounded familiar. I'm not sure if he picked Illinois over us, or if we weren't that interested, but I'm pretty sure his name was mentioned quite a bit when he transferred from Seton Hall.

I really don't think we'd be looking at this guy for next year. Looking at the scholarship chart I think we need a longer term guy that maybe doesn't contribute much next season but is ready for the 16-17 year. We will lose a lot after next season.

I think you're probably right, but you never know.

0% chance. The last thing next year's team needs is a 6'3" guard. Assuming no guard attrition, that is.

We definitely looked at this kid coming from Seton Hall. We passed and Cooke is much better anyway. No chance he ends up here, he's been nothing but trouble at Illinois.

Yea, I saw he'd had some team rules issues. As somebody that actually follows Illinois, is he just a knucklehead?

From what I have heard yes. Basically he isn't good enough to put up with his attitude.

I haven't seen his rap sheet but, if he murdered anybody, Fran might be interested.
