Hello fellow fanatics,

Hoping someone here can help me out. I'm in search of a throwback Iowa State Basketball jersey from the Tinsley/Fizer era. I've looked thoroughly online but no luck.

Does anyone have any recommendation on trying to track down one of these?

Unrelated, but my wife had an old white T shirt her mom (who went to ISU) gave to her. It was a 1994 Iowa State basketball shirt. Signed by the team: Fred Hoiberg, Loren Meyer, Julius Michalik, Hurl Beechem, and coach Orr, among others. By the time I started dating her, she had been using it as her "pajama shirt" because it was so big and comfy. It had been ran the wash so many times the signatures were almost gone. That thing was a relic... but it must've been super comfy

If you are looking for one that was game-worn, basketball jerseys are extremely difficult to come-by. I had to wait in line for like 8 hours to get some basketball jerseys from the Hoiberg Coaching era at the equipment sale. Ended up with an Edozie cardinal uniform with the Johnny Orr patch and a gold Georgios Tsalmpouris jersey. I was super pumped to get those.

This guy might be a resource for you: http://www.cyclonejerseys.com/ and he posts on here.

If you're looking for replicas, I feel like eBay or Craigslist or right here on CF would be your best bets for a retro uniform.

Doesn't need to be game worn, just a jersey from that era. Thanks for the info and the link!
