Nebraska’s last five completed recruiting classes have all been ranked #21 or higher on Rivals. Really drives home Mandel’s point about how the Pac-12 is superior to the remaining Big 12 schools based on recruiting rankings.

But a lot of those guys are no longer with the team. Frost has had a run on guys transferring out of Nebraska, especially some of his higher profile Florida guys. Then other guys didn't make grades.

I did find it funny that the announcers said one of Nubs' WRs who is in his second year in the program was a highly touted juco who caught zero passes last year. He caught two passes in this game, the first two catches of his career at Nubs. Omar Manning was a 4-star recruit, according to Rivals and the top juco WR in 2020 out of Kilgore College in Texas. He only appeared in one game last year and I think he may have been redshirted. You don't recruit jucos to redshirt them, which is probably one of Frost's problems.

A lot of them would not fit well here.

The only chance to keep Matt Campbell at Iowa State if there’s a gross new big 12, is he’s in complete control of his program.

he’s not beholden to donors, not really even Jamie.

he won’t necessarily get that freedom at another school in a real conference.

He was actually really solid today. Never should’ve picked a big 10 program to begin with, much less 3.
