I need some audiophile advice please .......

I own a Krell integrated amplifer, a pair of ProAc's and a Rega Planet is my player. How much do I need to spend for a decent player that I can hear an appreciable difference? Examples of players?
I realize this can be a subjective problem to deal with, but I would really be thankful for any of your suggestions.

What's wrong with the Rega Planet? I guess I'm not real picky because I've never been able to tell the difference between players in terms of sound quality unless you went from CD to SACD. I just use my good old PS3 for CD's and SACD's (I only own 2).


Now that I think of it, I don't think I've bought a CD in about 5 years.
