I got a gas powered blender for X-mas...I need something other than margs to make in it...any ideas?
Strawberries
Lime juice
ice
and pineapple chunks
lots of dark rum
Blend that all together. We drank the heck out of those things on the beach in Jamaica. Called a higher level, yum.

Rum Runner
These are great, especially at the Lake of the Ozarks. Here are a couple of versions I found:
Florida Rum Runner
1 1/2 oz rum
1 oz blackberry brandy
1 oz banana liqueur
1 1/5 oz lime juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice
Mix in blender until ice is crushed into slushy form. Serve while frozen.
Rum Runner recipe
0.75 oz Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum
0.25 oz blackberry liqueur
0.25 oz creme de bananes
2 oz orange juice
8 oz crushed ice

No measurements, just toss it all in. Once you make a couple of batches, you will find how you like it the best. That is half the fun.
:th_jtteglad:Keep them coming, I have a feeling some of these drinks might come handy in the fall....If you hear a weed eater running in the vet med lot next football season, feel free to stop by for a sample....
