I have the basic hulu live package with 50 hour s of recording and it blows. Especially when recording local channels. I set it to record the 10 Pm news every night. Every time I go to recording it only shows yesterday's news. but never that day. So I set it to record a different local channel 10 PM news every night. It recorded it every night for a week and then quit recording it. LAstly I set it to record a Saturday PM new show and it records it twice. Every Saturday.

Anyone else have similar issues?

I seem to have issues with Hulu all the time. Small things, but annoying. The recording issue you describe is one of them. Another…often times the close captioning is there when i turn it on. I have to toggle it off and on in settings a few before it goes away.

Their recording features are convoluted compared to what I had with Spectrum. Some things will record multiple times (despite it being set to record new episodes only) while other shows won't record the whole show. I've also have a season of something recorded and then episode 3 or 6 randomly disappear.

Are you recording the news for your daily dose of depression, or are you trying to make sure you got away with whatever crime spree you just committed?

I dont have many complaints with Hulu Live and the recordings have always been right.

I can’t get it to stop recording Sportscenter every time it airs. I’ve never tried to record it in my life. Keeps coming back no matter what I do. Not an uncommon problem judging by how many threads you can find about it.

Looks like they're rolling out unlimited in phases. I checked again at lunch and it had bumped me up from 50 to 200 hours. Next step must be that they remove the 200 hour cap.

Have you added Sportscenter to "My Stuff"? If you have, it will automatically record it, even if you don't specifically hit the record button.

No. I’ve done everything possible to stop it. It doesn’t show up anywhere.

Actually, that's my wife's call. She sleeps better if she watches the local news. Of coarse by the time she finishes brushing her teeth, she asks me what the weather is going to be tomorrow. I've reached the point where I tell her I can't remember since it has been 10 minutes since we watched the weather. I then hand her my phone and tell her to look it up.

Same problem. It always records Sportscenter and a bunch of stuff on Vice. Never watched sportscenter on Hulu and have only watched something on Vice maybe twice ever and I’m not sure we had Hulu at the time. I had it set up to record a mini series on the History Channel over a year ago and when I went to watch it a couple weeks later, it was no longer recorded and every sport center from those couple weeks had filled up everything. Stopped recording stuff and not caring. If I can’t watch it, **** it. Haven’t checked to see if it still does it.

I had an issue where I had watched a series, like 'How I Met Your Mother', but it was still showing on MyStuff even after I removed it from MyStuff. I did some searching and had to go through the episodes to remove it from 'My Episodes'. Once I did that it was gone. Maybe you could try that.

The DVR crap is the only thing that makes me hate Hulu. I did a month of Enhanced DVR or whatever but still couldn't catch up on live tv because I couldn't fast forward over commercials. I didn't see anything about the unlimited DVR until this thread. Hopefully it will get us to YouTube-like DVR?
