Nutt's lawyer was going through the cell phone records and it was a different area code than the other calls made within the same time frame. Freeze is claiming it was a wrong number as he was in area code 813 and that number was a 313 number. The university then started going through more of his phone records and must have found something. They haven't mentioned what those were.

Add this to the long line of reasons "amateur" unpaid athletics is a joke. I love watching college football and basketball, but big money college athletics is a farce.
And we only hear about the infractions that see the light of day. We all know that many of these go unreported/unpunished because of which school is involved.
