How awful is Jimmy Fallon?

Has anyone else suffered through his show? I watched it once and will probably never turn it on again. First off, his montage is awful...nothing but speeding through rehearsed jokes. Jay, Dave and Conan all tell the scripted jokes but still have an element of spontaneuity and creativity. Then his interviews are just terrible, with him stuttering and giggling through the entire thing. I also never got the impression he had any authority over the interview, but rather the guest was rambling on and Fallon replied with "yah" through the whole interview.

What do all of you think about the show?

I think he's probably about as good as Conan was in his first two weeks, which as I recall, was not exactly stellar...

Please don't insult Leno and Letterman by including Conan in the same league as them. Conan was/is a good comedic writer, but his delivery is not good. Not as bad as he used to be, but still a distant 3rd to Jay and Dave.

Jimmy Fallon was terrible on SNL and in pretty much every movie he's ever made. I think the guy needs to take some ritalin or something, or stop drinking 15 cups of coffee a day. Relax dude!

I couldn't disagree more. I think Conan's delivery is by far the most funny of those three. Jay and Dave are so boring.

I guess its a personal taste thing.

Leno's delivery is terrible, the guy is as a hackneyed stereotype of a stand up comedian. "Have you seen this, have you heard about this?" I feel like I'm watching jimmy on south park.

Conan was horrible the first 6 months and then he started to figure out his role. I would give Jimmy Falon a few months to figure it out before I make a judgement.
