We're coming to the KU game from out of town and I haven't been to a game at JTS since the 90's. We have a group of 8 (3 children age 3, 5 & 6) and we have hillside tickets. How long before game time would you recommend that we arrive?

I would try to be inside the stadium 25-30 minutes before kick-off and you will have no trouble finding a decent place to sit.

Remember that the ticket deal for this weekend is for hillside tickets. So, there could be less room available than normal.

I recommend the SW hillside. You'll be by the KU section but they shouldn't bring many fans and I doubt they'll have many reasons to stand.

The only drawback for the south hillsides is that you can't see the video board. We always tried to stay at the top of the hill but far enough away from the seats to avoid having to stand the entire game. We could generally see the entire field except for the opposite corners of each endzone. Have a great time! Go Cyclones!!!

We usually head in about 45 minutes before kick, and grab a spot towards the top of the selected hill. We like to move around.
