Well crap, I didn't read the second part of his post. I apologize - I got 3 hours of sleep last night and misread it.

In all honesty, I would much rather see ISU doing better right now. The youth on this team is obviously taking its toll, as well as the loss of one of the leaders.

I'm *hoping* next year we can see both ISU and Iowa return to a season similar to 2002.

Beating "overrated weak Big Ten teams" is better than the alternative IMO. And I think you have a pretty good idea as to what the alternative is.
