My dad and I are annual season ticket holders with a Handicap Tag. Two others go with us as well. My dad recently had Bypass surgery and is limited on his walking. He wants to sit at the bars (campus town) before gametime and then get to the game. Sitting outside for 8+ wouldn’t be good. I was wondering if a handicap spot would be open about an hour before gametime? I don’t trust Uber to be available or their ability to drop us off close enough. Any other options anyone can think of would be helpful.

Normally yes. If the normal handicapped lot is full they will open up I believe C5 or C6 for handicapped parking. Just need your handicap thing and 20 bucks
We tried to get into the handicap lot for the Kansas game about 90 minutes before game time. They told us it was full and said we had to park across the street in the grass lot. Just a heads up for you.
We've had that happen too but they do have shuttles for you from wherever they end up sending you. They literally *have* to supply handicap accessible parking for you. If they say they can't, ask for a supervisor.
