I’ve never understood why some big guys who struggle at the free throw line don’t try and bank them in. It’s easier than you would think, especially if you practice it. I think it’s a pride/ego thing.

Just looking at the box score but this certainly brings the conference back in reach. Half is only one game out of first place. The biggest thing I see is Young only took 3 3 pt attempts. I think he probably got rained back in and told that chucking 3's from 30 feet is not best for the team, even if you are Steph Curry.
Didn't they say Texas was shooting 29% from 3 except against us? 45% the 1st game and better yesterday. Could be or defense of the 3 point li e however.
QFT. Some of these guys could benefit by going Rick Berry but they have to fight the contradiction that they don't have the balls to do it and the reason they don't have em is too much testosterone and false male pride.
Azubuike has a long ways to go. The game against us, some how we got switched up and Babb was guarding him in the post, and Azubuike passed out of it.
I'm so torn. I hate KU winning the conference every year. And I want us to be the ones who win the Big 12 instead of them. As this is most likely not the year for us to do it, I kinda want KU to win (so that we can take it from them next year or the year after). But I feel dirty even saying it.
Last time I checked the Hoks were the ones taking pride in doing things the Right Way. If you can change your ft shooting form & add 20% to your ft shooting rate, DO IT! How many overtime games has ISU had this year? A couple more made free throws would have made a large difference in how we view this team.
