They tweet at 730 but do the text alert at 815. What is the point? If cf has it discussed for 30 minutes before your alert goes out that is a problem.

IIRC, it takes quite a while for the alert system to send out the info to all of the contacts. When we had the pickup truck on central campus the emails went out within a couple minutes, but the texts and phone calls took a while.

ISU Alert began sending out alerts at 10:51 a.m. All emails were sent by 10:53 a.m. and text messages were sent by 11:04 a.m. Hacker explained that phone calls usually take longer, about a half an hour for them to all go out.
