On Wednesday, the Supreme Court begins considering whether detainees at Guantanamo Bay can go to U.S. courts to challenge their confinement.

Something like 3 out of the 300 detainees have been charged with offenses.

If our courts had any kind of control over information, I would not be opposed to this. Meanwhile, we are releasing detailed accounts directly to the media from grand jury proceedings, which are supposed to be confidential.
