Comrade, surely you don't mean to tell me your мать is controlling the empire?
I'm tempted to use the phrase "behind every great man is a great woman." but thats my mom, and that sounds really creepy.

So good story, my parents and brother come on Saturday at 7 for what I thought was going to be the LAS ceremony. Turns out it was on Friday. Woops.

That's the problem with you whippersnappers these days. Don't care nothing 'bout yer learnin' and what have you. Back in my day, I made sure to attend my graduation...wait...****, no I didn't. Carry on.

One of our interns is graduating this month. I thought we should all bring in our graduation pictures. Apparently I was the ONLY one who had a picture. Back than, in my family, it was sort of a big deal. Based on my freshman year my family probably thought my graduation was some sort of a miracle.

Graduated in December and didn't walk. Now my parents want me to borrow a cap and gown and go take pictures on campus sometime.

I wouldn't miss my hooding for anything. I put in the hard time, then by golly I was going to let my family enjoy the ceremony. Was a way to honor my major prof too. She deserved it.

I'd love to have attended but 900 miles away = flying, hotel, and time off from work. Not possible in my line of work during the spring.
