Not to hijack, but I am looking for a Shiba Inu puppy. So if you don't know of any Golden Retrievers, but do know of Shiba Inu puppies, let me know.

We adopted a female (2yr Old) about 2 years ago and I will probably never own another breed of dog. Good luck!
Mine came from a couple up in Kamrar...I'd have to dig to find their names. He turned 3 back in April and has great temperment with my two daughters (especially the 2 year old). He's still exciteable at times but was easy to train. The only real problems are the extreme amounts of hair and my wife doesn't like that he weighs 118 lbs--difficult for her to handle sometimes.

Goldens are the best. I have a "red" one as well...just turned 3. His name is Fizer. (Yes, he is incredible in the low post.) Great temperment and very very easy going. The best dog ever. My wife and I got him in Messina, IA.
