This is the first negative thing I've seen about Ford in a long time.

This is especially bad for the Explorer since it's brand new and all the others besides the Durango are older models.

Yeah, the car & driver write up said that multiple things on the Ford actually broke during their rather short test. Otherwise, I agree that Ford has done a great job lately of bolstering their product & reputation.

in reviews the new Ford Focus just hitting the market is killing everything else in the segment. The only down side I've seen is that it can be optioned up to almost $30K. Americans have a tough time spending over 20K for a compact.
