Watching the game on good ole CYTV. 6 point lead after 1st. WV not shooting too well so far. If they stay that way you got this one. However they got cold against TX for a while, then warmed up and won it.

Fortunately Tynice Martin has been ice cold. 1 of 7. Not typical. If she gets hot in the 2nd it could be a horse of another color here.

Greetings from Hilton.
First half thoughts: WV is playing rough and tough but that is getting them into foul trouble as two bigs already have 3 fouls and they are only 8 deep.
ISU needs to keep taking it to the hole and when Bridget gets the small girl on the switch, she needs to post up. The worst is they will double her and leave a girl up for a three or lay up.

I believe this is over. Kind of surprised. I really thought WV would come in a put up a real dawg fight, because they had just as much riding on the outcome as the sisters did. But they are shooting horrible. Martin is having one of her worst nights. Good for the Clones.

Missed most of the game (birthday party) but caught the 4th. Another terrific game from Scott (again) and the business as usual all around efficiency from Bridgett (double/double near triple). :D

If the Big 12 had a most improved player award it would have to go to Scott. Go Minnesota connection!

Scott 29, Carleton 23, rest of team 25. Wise continues to struggle, 4 pts 1 rb in 36 minutes, so it's a good thing Scott is adding so much support to compliment Carleton.

Kristin really came on in the second half. As much fun to watch her slip into the opening beneath the basket as it is to see Bridget take on every opposing player - and win.

Nice win by the ladies tonight. Crowd was bolstered by the $3 ticket sales of show your men's ticket. Probably the best crowd of the yr attendance wise. It was nice to see the ladies come out and do what the men didn't and that is take care of home court.

Pretty sure we aren't elite but we are playing darn good ball, keep improving and see what happens in March. 1st time in a while I'll spend some money on tourney tickets.

Maddy played a dynamite game on D. Quiet and unsung, but she contributed to this win as much as anyone did. What a gamer.

Maddy played outstanding defense, as coach said on the post game interview, "she played her guts out". She was a big reason why we won. Holding Martin in check was huge, she is an incredible athlete.

Went to the game with the family. Refreshing after the men's game.

I found it ironic that number zero for WVU did not get teed up after getting upset from a foul call, even going after the ref. Then, Inez gets teed up after an and-one when she stared briefly at the defender who fouled her.

Kristen Scott has become as valuable to this team as Bridget. She is tenacious under the basket.

Yes, Inez basically got a T for side-eye that lasted about 1.5 seconds. Another Big 12 game, another group of officials who were consistently inconsistent in what they chose to call at any given moment. At least Gina Cross realized towards the end of the game that she'd given an out-of-bounds possession to WVU instead of Iowa State and did the 'my bad' chest tap and changed the call.

“Rough and tough???” Is Huggy Bear coaching the WV women, too?

Last night in the presser Bill noted that WVU played a style of ball ( more physical) that was different then ours but we played our style and won. What I liked from being at the game and then watching it again today was that we did play our style but also gave some of their style back to them. We did not get intimidated by it as we have sometimes in the past. Loved Ines stare down after she was fouled.

Looked to me like she knew the right call, just pointed the wrong direction and than did an "oops, that's not the ISU direction". Happens occasionally.

Thankfully the Real Cyclone team showed up at Hilton today! Nice D team - you rock and I always love it when you play all around bball. Thanks for not rading press clippings about how great you are but actually going out and showing it! Love you Twister Sisters!

Attended my first women's game in years last night; as it was daddy daughter night. My wife tagged along as well LOL. I followed the team in high school with legends such as Taylor and Welle playing at an all-time level. I watched us knock-off number 2 Texas Tech with Anne O'Neal leading the way. There have been some ups and downs between those years however I really enjoyed myself last night. There have been some brief comments about how this team could top out next to some of our great ones of the past. I'm not sure if they will reach that ceiling or not however it is an absolute joy to watch players such as Carlton. I was taken back by just how good Kristen Scott has become I appreciated most her ability to sustain contact and finish around the basket. When you have Scott ,Carlton and Joens on their game the Cyclones become pretty difficult to beat! Best wishes to the Twister sisters. Go Cyclones!

Watching Martin and coach talk you could see that they were frustrated.

Lots of WBB on TV (10 I can get) today

Best games:
On now Florida State at Notre Dame ESPN
1:00 NW at Minnesota BTN (okay, not great but I am a Minnesotan)
1:00 Tennessee at Miss. State ESPN
3:00 Oregon at Stanford ESPN2
3:00 Iowa at Ohio State BTN

ND's Mikayla Vaughn just got almost knocked out by an elbow. TKO, could hardly get up and walk. No flagrant 1 cause it was her teammate Shepard who did it. Weird seeing someone actually get hurt and no foul after all of the incidental contact and reaction acting/flops I 've seen this year that get technicals.

Edit: typos
