I will be in Prague on Saturday for the NDSU game and Florence for the following KSU game. I have never been to Europe and want to make sure I am able to catch the games. The 11 am starts will be great for me but what are my best options for viewing? Will any sports bars carry Fox Sports 1 and if so, will it be showing the game over there? I have heard there are "American" bars but not sure what tv packages they have. Any experience and advice is appreciated.

Lucky bastard. Check out firstrowsports.eu or atdhe. If that doesn't work, check this site on game day. I'll be looking for a stream on Saturday as well, since I won't be getting the game on tv, so shoot me a PM if you can't find anything.

Almost 100% sure you won't find the game on tv anywhere in Europe.

If I were you I'd just try the pirate streams with a cyclones.tv subscription to radio feed as a backup.

When I studied abroad in '00 I was just before the days of pirate tv streams, my parents mailed me VHS tapes and we watched them on the American format VCR one of our professors had brought. Makes me feel really old now. My internet connection in Rome was some gov funded by the minute dial up service. It only charged us like $3 a month but could not have streamed video anyway.

You aren't going to find the game over there. Only way is online. Gonna have to use the hotel wifi or something.

Yeah, I was in Europe for a few games last fall and ended up reduced to following along on ESPN gamecast.

I applaud your loyalty, but please take a reality check. ISU sports will be here for a long time (we hope), how often do you get to Europe? Enjoy your surroundings and don't worry about a football game.

Agreed. I doubt that missing these two games will ever be on your list of regrets. And even if they are great games, Cyclones.tv will have the replay at some point. Enjoy Europe.

We missed a couple games last fall travelling aboard. Got into Dallas about the time a lot of ISU Fans were flying out after the Baylor game. ( )

They seemed very jolly and I almost went over to ask about how the game went . . .

I checked the score on my phone and didn't talk to them. :twitcy:
