Honestly, the winner of this question in terms of quality of movies and their performance has to be John Cazale. In 1974 he had big roles in both The Conversation and Godfather Part II.
Tom Hardy is a nice pickup there. I thought he was much better than Leo in The Revenant.
Surprise nobody combed through Samuel L.'s IMDB page for this one...
