So I was looking on the chevrolet.com website at dealers around the area and came across Fred Hoiberg's Clarion Auto Center. From the website it says it is part of the Pritchard family of dealers. Is there anyone from Clarion that knows about this dealer at all? It seems legit also since it is listed on the chevrolet website as a dealer. Does Fred actually have anything to do with this at all or what?

I believe that it is just his name that is on the dealership, but I could be wrong.

It's a branch of Pritchard's of North Iowa which also has Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jeep, Chrysler dealerships located in Britt, Garner, Forest City, and Clear Lake. He has some part in it as some of the Pritchard's family and workers do have some ties to ISU athletics. When they first opened, he was there doing some promotional things. That's all I know.

I work for the Pritchard's store in Clear Lake. I know that he has some sort of finacial interest in the business, but not sure how much. I believe him and Joe Pritchard are friends from their days at ISU. Everyone at Pritchard's was pretty excited with the hire as you can imagine.

I am originally from Clarion and yes he does have some financial ties with the dealership. My car is actually from the dealership, I mean come on who wouldn't want to buy from the greatest of all time!!

I believe when he started out he was fairly involved in the dealership but more recently he does not do much with it since he has been busy with the T-Wolves.

I have followed Fred's basketball career since he entered Iowa State. I read about his financial interest in Fred Hoiberg's Clarion Auto Center at that time in which it said initially anyway he purchased 15% interest in the business.

I think he might have a little bit more to do with the dealership than many think. Whenever I have been at Target Center and the TWolves were practicing about half of the players' cars have the FH dealership nameplate on them. Someone joined the team and Fred made sure he talked to them about what they wanted in a vehicle.

I guess he will have to be a little more careful about deals that his players get now!

Vincent here, just came here recently..Sorry for the late post just want to add that FH is not a part of Pritchard. It's only a dealership...Pritchard has started in business in 1913..it was only in 2005 when they let FH deal their products such as ford, chevy, Cadillac, buick and pontiac...and based from Pritchard's History | New and Used Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUVs in Northern Iowa, the company only handles domestic products..
