For conversation sake: Florida or Kentucky, which would you prefer:

Way up there
If this team truly has NC aspirations Kentucky would be the ticket. Either they find out they really are in the running and get a huge resume boost or they find out they have serious work to do and their wake up call.

Heck Texas went in there and gave them a good game last year, ISU next year > Texas last year.

I'd prefer Kentucky but I'll be far from disappointed if we end up playing at LSU.

While a game at Kentucky will help us next March for a #1 seed, I selfishly want Florida so I can drive up and go to the game!

Kentucky, but people need to remember this isn't early in the season like before. Next year the SEC challenge games are during the conference season (January 30) so no sneaking up on Kentucky while they are still trying to put all the new pieces together.

Absolutely want Kentucky. Imagine if Diallo somehow lands in Ames (unlikely I know) and puts on an absolute show on a national stage. Could go a long way for landing high school stars. (Beating Kentucky without Diallo would also help recruiting). Bring on BBN

Isn't the Big 12/SEC challenge in January this coming year? I really hope so, so we'll have Burton

LSU and Texas A&M will be very good.

For the first time in a long time, the SEC has the potential to be quite the conference. We are going to have a tough game.

I don't know why people always think this. Other than the past couple seasons, the SEC's been a lot better than people give them credit for...they regularly put 5-7 teams in the tournament, and the teams at the top often go pretty deep in it. They're not that much worse than any of the other Power 5 conferences, and are arguably better than the PAC.

Kentucky will be fun to play, but I would take a rematch with Arkansas also. Enjoyed the banter with their fans.

UK. I want another shot at them after Royce & Unibrow went head to head. We were SO in that game...but there are two halves...

Kentucky lost one game this year. It doesn't matter how good Florida is next year, Kentucky is much better exposure.
Beating Kentucky outweighs beating Florida.
Losing to Kentucky outweighs losing to Florida.
Losing respectably to Kentucky may even outweigh beating Florida (I'm on the fence a little on that one though).

The scenario that would suck would be having a UCLA-like performance against Kentucky. I just don't see a blowout in our future next year though.
