Good stuff, thanks for posting. I am tired of reading all the so called guitar magazines and seeing all these idiots that bang on the guitar as hard as they can in dropped D tuning can call that music.

Finger picking acoustic is great and all but I like mine with a bit more rock. I agree that today's music definitely has something missing, and that's a guitarist that has been classically trained or at least understands something about music therory: Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Darrell Abbott, Eddie Van Halen, or Kirk Hammett. They seem to be a dying (or dead already) breed.

I really get into Delta Blues. To carry a bass line while implementing a melody all with the same stroke is just a beauty of its own. I still can't play like the majority of those out there, but have a sure appreciate for those who can. It really does make you enjoy music on another level.

And though the ads do get tiring for Pro Music Center, there really isn't anywhere else I would go!

Alvarez FD60BL - the first guitar I ever purchased (and, now that I'm a more experienced guitar player it was pretty much a mistake of a purchase as I can't play bar chords on it if my life depended on it).

This guitar was a great purchase as almost any idiot, including me with short, stubby fingers, can play it with relative ease (and I can play bar chords easily on it). For those of you in the know, this guitar will also impress you for the fact that it's made of koa (spelling?) wood.

Sweet Home Chicago that everyone knows of from the Blues Brothers.

Completely different than what your accustomed to, it was an eye opener to me when I first found out long ago.

This version is actually made famous by Robert Johnson. (Sorry no vids as they didn't have music video or YouTube back then.)

I don't play and but I appreciate great artists.

This dude looks amazing. I couldn't tell you how hard it is to play this song and some of you may have learned how to play it. But I couldn't imagine the creative genius needed to come up with something like this from scratch.

weird..... ive seen his videos on youtube before, but never seen this one. kind of odd he was using 3 capos in this song. it looks like the capos are over all of the strings, so not sure what he was doing with them.....
