I purchased season tickets this year after not having them for a number of years. I got an email that I could buy a season parking pass that is $100 but would require a minimum $300 donation. That much isn't in my budget. What are my parking options if I don't want to go this route? Can grass lot parking still be purchased on a game by game basis for like $20?

Brown areas or park up on campus I believe for free and walk over.

Keep in mind that that $300 donation gets you into States level of Cyclone Club that has other benefits. You would be able to select seats in pretty nice sections for football. Or get ahead of others in seat selection if you stay in the non-donor priced seats. Also that donation carries over to basketball where you can get the parking passes free if you buy the season tickets for basketball too.

Also if you were only getting 2 tickets, this gets you the ability to buy 4. Maybe pair up with someone and split the $300 up between you.

Just trying to think of some ideas if you weren’t aware of ways to offset the costs.

Weird I don’t think I got that one.
We didn't either. Guess I need to keep looking for it.

EDIT: We got one from the Cyclone Club on April 8 about specific parking stalls. At the bottom it said

"We anticipate sending out your selection time via email around the middle of April, and that you will be able to choose your parking lot online later in April."

I heard you can do a pre-pay for parking and have it be digital over the phone, Does this apply to the General Public spots (in brown)?

They did this last year for General Public G-lots. They sent an email out/posted on social media on the Wednesday before a home game you can get on a specific link to get a ticket in the G lots for that game. Tickets were all digital. Pretty slick the way it worked. I used it a couple of times. Get there early to park though.

I don't think I realized G7 was done. I assume those folks are relocated to B1, C1, and C2?

Other than the Iowa game it was fine. They had significant issues with the site for the Iowa game when that link was launched. I ended up calling the ticket office.

Correct. They are currently doing construction to expand B1 to add additional spaces.

FWIW, there's quite a logjam for parking at the lower donor levels. I am 551/1267 in States, and was told I would likely need to move up 2 donor levels to have a shot at getting into a lot on the South side of Center drive.

RV lot now. Not sure if the G7s moving will be great or not. There were the hard core G7s that ate a lot of space and caused people to not have spots. We have been around Hilton for a few years because some game we show early, some we come and not tailgate due to other things happening. So this could either be positive or negative
