Football Parking Selection

I've search my email and the forums, I've found nothing about parking selection for 2023. The invoice/receipt has a TBD on it. Isn't the lot selection usual in full swing by now? Or are we all patiently waiting on the completion of the paving work on the lots?

Parking and Seat Selections will be flipped this year. Seat Selections are happening sometime at the end of this month, parking closer to July.
Seems slow, especially with season renewals being a month sooner than past years.

Also wonder when away game tickets info will be available, I've gone to a "only buy away tix thru ISU" policy after a less than great experience a few years back. Planning on two road trips this fall!

I think they pushed back the parking selection date in case the current parking project would experience delays and some lots become unavailable. At least that is what a big donor told me.

This sounds about right. If the weather cooperates, I can see all of those lots ready for the season. At least the D lots for sure.

Slower than prior years, but what's the rush? Especially when they're re-paving/updating a big chunk of the lots. They could theoretically start selections in August and have plenty of time.

I say that as someone who always looks forward to the selections. Last year at parking selection time there were 1,390 donors at my level (Cardinal), and as of today there are only 1,239. Anybody care to report back on the other levels? Here are the totals I jotted down last year from the parking thread:

Directors: 371
Victory: 637
Captains: 765
Gold: 2,122
Cardinal: 1,390
States: 1,267
Century: 485

Total: 7,037

I was more concerned that I missed it and got what I got. I've been in the same lot since the first threat, "donate more or lose your parking" back in '06 or '07. Maybe a year or two that we got upgraded one lot south, before we tailgated with others that don't have the priority that we do. I actually think I may go up if I can this year, as my preferred options are likely gone when Cy-Town is done (and then I'm thinking about going all in on an RV and going south-east...)

I'm wondering that too. I think I'm going to try to drive down to Norman for the last game at Oklahoma.
I'll probably buy through ISU if I can.

All down a bit from last year at this time. Not surprising with uncertain parking and following a disappointing season, I suppose.
Sadly I’ve talked to a few long time (30+) year donors that are giving it up.

That's probably more of an age thing than anything. FFS these people have seen some real sh!tty Iowa State football, now's the time to hang it up unless physically it's become too much.

2021 was the peak and then last year was probably enough for some of the fringe fan band wagon types to walk away.

Some moved down levels to shift $$ to WE WILL Collective.

I'm sure a few have, but every donation level has fewer donors than last year. If it was just a trickle down, the lower levels would have more..

Still waiting on where and if tents will be available. Heard possibly between Hilton and C Y. Not our favorite answer to that.

Last year’s increase in the donation required to maintain your level most likely knocked a few people down or out as well.
