Can we schedule a non-conference road game with Michigan at the Big House next year? It's a sure win!

Second thought, we don't want to kill our Strength of Schedule like that.

1)I'm certain that there is a pretty decent element of old school Michigan people that were offended when an outsider was hired as HC for FB. He really irritated these people further when he cleaned house and seemed a little disrespectful of some of Michigan's traditions when he got to Ann Arbor.

2)Michigan expects to win and win big...every year. The leash is short and the coach is on the hot seat every year. Unfortunately, for us, not too many Cyclone fans are familiar with these sort of expectations born of long term success.

Granted. However, there are similar situations occurring at Nebraska and Texas A&M right now - these schools have fallen off the path and the fans demand that their team finds the path immediately, or they lose support for the current head coach and are demanding the next, even if that coach isn't even through his first year.

That's the irony of the fall of some from grace of some of these great football schools lately - some of these schools have absolutely no idea what it takes to actually build a football program from the ground up because they've been handed success year after year. These schools have always been under the impression that winning is their God-given right, and now they're finding out that this simply is not the case anymore.

RichRod is going to create a monster at Michigan. I would not want any part of playing that program in a couple of years.

This wouldn't be related to the sites like "firechizik.com" or whatever would they? I seem to recall when that discussion came up that there are internet prospectors out there who snap up domain names so they can sell them later...

kind of like the ******* ******** who created domain names of 9/11 victims so families wanting to create a tribute site would have to buy it from them, or come up with something completely unrelated to the victim.

****ing ******.

I mean in this case it could be ligit, but I was just wondering in light of the discussion about the Chizik site last year
