There some consternation down here about an ag school using turf rather than grass. But the reality of Bill Snyder being in charge overlays [sic] it.

He practices only in the stadium, never elsewhere unless under special circumstances. K-State has natural grass practice fields and an indoor facility. But Bill doesn't use them. Thus, the need for turf in his building. Grass would not stand the wear and tear.

We got lucky Jack Trice was built how it was built. We have a great advantage of adding to it very easily. Like Take Kinnick. It's a nice stadium. However, the look of the one end zone is terrible.

I just wish they would fix the lead up to Hilton at some point.
